Greg Atkinson has been writing, speaking and training Church leaders since 2000. In late 2003, Greg launched MultisensoryWorship.com (mSw) – a website geared to encourage, network, resource, and equip Christian pastors, media ministers, artists and worship leaders – after having served the previous 11 years as a worship pastor himself in the Carolinas and Washington DC.

Greg has a degree in church music with a minor in religion and has done graduate work in worship, leadership and communication. He helped create, develop and lead WorshipHouse Media, while serving as Director there until the summer of 2006.

Greg continues to speak each year, leading Local Forums in major cities throughout the country, guest speaking at various schools and seminaries and teaching at conferences such as the Church Solutions Conference, National Outreach Convention, NRB, NAB, GMA in the Rockies, ECHO, ARC Bug Conference, the Dynamic Church Conference, InfoComm, MinistryCOM, INSP West, Moody Bible Pastors’ Conference, the National Church Music Conference, the National Creative Arts Conference, Purpose Driven Worship Conference, Saddleback’s Worship Conference and Festival and the Christian Musician Summit.

Greg writes regularly for Relevant’s Neue MagazineChristian AV Magazine, Vision Magazine, Technologies for Worship Magazine, Worship Arts and Technology Magazine, Church Production Magazine, LifeWay’s “Let’s Worship” magazine, Collide Magazine and Christianity Today’s FaithVisuals.

Greg also does a column for Monday Morning Insight, ChurchCentral.com and blogs for Leadership Network’s Books and Digital blogs, Relevant Pew, as well as writes occasional articles for Catalyst Monthly, SermonCentral.com,  REV Magazine, Outreach Magazine and Preaching Magazine. Greg was recently interviewed by Worship Leader magazine. Greg also is a free-lance writer for Leadership Network and their Leadership Communities.

Greg was a judge at the Buzz Film Festival in Washington DC and sat on a panel at the Damah Film Festival in LA. Greg serves on the Advisory Council of the NRB’s Church Media Committee. Greg also serves on the board of Kindle, a global prayer and technology ministry.

Besides speaking, writing (including working on some books), Greg works with ARC (Association of Related Churches) as a coach and as a free-lance consultant – specializing in areas such as innovation, worship, strategy, technology, social justice, worship, creative communication, new media, and engaging the senses in corporate worship. Greg has a special passion for church plants and serves as a coach, consultant and assessor of potential and existing church planters. Greg also works with churches of all stages and sizes including some of the largest churches in the US, as well as organizations such as Josh McDowell Ministries.
